Ordinance No. 687 allows the use of golf carts and work-site utility vehicles on city streets, subject to regulations. 

 

Before being operated on any public highway, street, road, or alley within the corporate limits of Towanda, all golf carts and work-site utility vehicles must be registered with the City of Towanda and display a valid City-issued registration decal or tag on the rear of the vehicle. 

 

Applications for a golf cart or work-site utility vehicle permit can be obtained at Towanda City Hall during normal business hours.  Please see the FAQ section below for more information, or contact Towanda City Hall for further questions.
