The Towanda Cemetery is located at the north end of 6th St. in Towanda.  It is owned and maintained by the Towanda Township.  By contract, the City of Towanda handles certain business on behalf of the Towanda Township.  Such business includes the transactions of plot sales and the keeping and maintaining of cemetery records (including records of sales and burials).  The city also serves as the first contact for internment requests.
