Part-Time Position

 

Rate: $16.00 per hour

​

Job Description:

• This person will assist the City Code Enforcement Officer.

• Their job will be to ensure compliance with "Nuisance Codes."

• Increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Code Enforcement Department.

  • Those codes involve all things environmental: weeds, grass, trees and shrubs, junk, trash cans, etc.

Candidate Must Have Skills in:

• Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with coworkers and other individuals in contact during the course of work; following instructions.

• Operating a personal computer utilizing standard software such as Microsoft Office and specialized software; functioning standard office equipment.

• Interpreting laws, ordinances, codes and regulations.

• Negotiation,

• Oral and written communication skills.

• Reading maps, plats, and drawings.
